I wouldn't expect to see it any time soon.

Welcome to the forum.

The rotten thing is on special in Oz at the moment ... I have absolutely no need for it ... but it's going at a substantial discount [sad] [unsure]

About how much of Festools tool line is NAINA?

Never counted it, but I visit the Festool websites of NL, DE, UK and USA regularly and I think you guys miss out on at least 40%, perhaps even a bit more.

It'll be an interesting ratio after all of the Protool -> Festool changes. We get a good spread in Oz, but I'm guessing it's about 80% of the full Euro range.

Oh well - think I'll call this my Christmas present to myself ...

Today was the last day I could get it at the discounted price and with prices rises potentially hitting before my dealer opens in the new year, what was I to do? [embarassed]

Now I need to buy some large bits of wood!

I'd say a timber frame palapa is in order, Kev...

Tom

I had to look up "palapa" ... not a common use word down under [smile]

Cool idea [cool]

Jeez Kev you must have everything now

Still no CS70, I've got the drop on him there.  [tongue]

+1  [big grin]

[embarassed] [sad] [crying]

This is the thing that's holding me back ...

The full CS70 set takes up a lot of space fully deployed and a CMS/GE housing the OF2200 even more. I don't know how cumbersome switching from sawing to moulding would be on the Hammer. I wouldn't get it with integrated planer and thicknesser ... I think that would drive me crazy.

If I had to move the saw from place to place I think I would have already gone with the CS70. As things stand, I don't have space for the Hammer or the space to leave the CS70 deployed in full (set) configuration.

For reference, in Oz the Hammer B3 Winner Saw/spindle moulder costs about the same as a CS70 set and an OF2200 in a CMS/GE ... this is why I keep going full circle and back to thinking I should just throw a TS75 in a CMS module and put the decision into the future.
