Festool sys roller

Hi all,
I own a festool roller and I lost the strap that holds all my boxes together.
I rang festool Uk and they quoted me £50 for a new strap!
Which I think is crazy considering I can get a new roller for under £100.
Has anyone any ideas as to what I could use.

That kit doesn't seem to have the sliding ends necessary to work with the SysRoll.  [sad]

Could you not make some sliding end pieces from aluminum strap?  Or route some from wood that could  slide into the channels and attach the strapping to it with screws or staples?

Personally I wish my strap was locked in place. If it were me, I would use some webbing and sew up a quick release buckle with a couple of footman loops on each outside end with screws and 1/4" nuts holding them in place in the t-track. If you can't sew webbing you can get plastic pieces that don't need to be sewn in.

Might have to modify my own on that thought...hmmm
