Hello ya'll....

So I just got the T18 and oh boy...what a fantastic drill.  I was wondering however, what are the torque values (not sure if this is what you call it), for the electronic settings on the drill.  If I set it to 10, how tight is that vs setting it to 15?  Etc...is there such a thing?

Thanks!

Hi - not being funny; does it really matter?  Wood can vary in density so much.
If, for eg, I'm sinking a lot of screws into, say, MDF - I'll set the torque so that screw is the depth I want - and hope it stays consistent lol; surely it's of no real interest what the 'actual' torque force is...
Congratulations on your purchase - bound to give a lot of drilling pleasure.  [smile]

I would concur. Personally, I have no idea what torque setting would be appropriate forthe various scenario I might face. What is the necessary torque for seating#4 brass screws in white oak for a specific hinge, as an example. When it matters, I tend to start safely, low torque, and sneak up until I am comfortable. If I had a chart with the specs. I would still need to do the same.
