Hi all, new to this fantastic group.
I can't hide my excitement about receiving my new Kapex 120 UG set which should arrive tomorrow!
I only discovered Festool about 3 years ago, and built up quite an array of Festools for my kitchen fitting, which I've been doing for about 20 years!
I've even ordered a Festool tape measure now! I'm becoming a complete tart but I don't care!!

Sounds like you're going to fit in well! Don't want to burst your bubble too soon, but don't get your hopes up about the tape measure, it's not great (but everything else is, and that's what matters!)  [big grin]

You're going to love your KAPEX.

Have you invested in different blades? They're quick to change.

I'll mostly be cutting cornices etc, so I'm sure the supplied blade will be fine for now.
I reckon the table saw module for the TS55 would be handy for me, then I could get rid of my old heavy Dewalt table saw, but to be honest I hardly use that anymore with the plunge saw in my armoury!
 
I was blown away with the accuracy of the CMS table saw setup - wasn't expecting a hand tool in a "module" to feel so professional and refined (despite my Festool intimacy). I've plonked the TS75 in mine ... I only did it as a "short term" thing until I get space organised for some bigger Hammer kit - but now I'm questioning my need for a Hammer slider.

First, Welcome! I learned about Festool at about the same time(actually about 4 1/2 years ago). Second, I thought for a moment Festool was going into the food industry. I saw Festool tart and all of the sudden I craved dessert.  [smile]

Regarding the measuring tape, I have two. One works well. The other not as well after being dropped. It is difficult to recoil. Could have just been a fluke. Most everything else has worked exceedingly well.

I'm still trying to figure out the difference between the boot, and a torch, and what is bangers and mash. ;D

Bangers and Mash- sausage and beans, or sausage and something
Page 3 girls- well, nevermind  ...... [eek]
 
Bangers & Mash = Sausage & Potatos (mashed potatoes)

Kinda on the same thread... Kapex, love the kapex and ug set up, I would like to know what blades the uk chaps are using? For example cornices and pelmets for kitchen.

Steve, I see you're in Cheltenham have you used Nuts and Bolts? Only in W-S-M really awesome. Festool folding rule is good.
