I had a great time in Vegas at the Festool Training with Steve. Learned a great deal. We got to the training about an hour late, because a new driver for the hotel first didn't know how to open the Bus door, which I ended up showing him how to let us on the bus, Then he drove us to the Woodworkers emporium (a Festool Dealer), which is on the other side of Vegas, but not the Training center. Quite the adventure. lol

I had been on the fence about buying the Centrotec installer kit, but getting to see it in person at the Training center was great. Sometimes you just need to see it in person to seal the deal. So I placed my order, as soon as I returned to Phoenix.

Now to help Timber Woodworking in Mesa to start setting up a Festool test center in their store. Not sure how fast that will happen, but I think it's needed to get Festool in the hands of skeptical woodworkers. Look forward to getting back into the store to do Demos for the next 6 months with some things I have expanded myself through Steve's class.

yeah...

I had zero respect for the centrotec because for the longest time they where not available in the US and because of the price.

But once they became available ( for a short time)  and I got my XXL hands on a set, I was sold.

Worth it if you have a Festool drill.

I used two Festool impact philips #2 bit for building my new shop.    Two because I lost one.......  LOL !

Where you been good???? Good to see your name here again  [big grin]

I was apprehensive about the centrotec system and the price of Festool drills.. But since I use square drive screws and got a centrotec square drive, I really like the idea . The ability to have the various different chucks 90, jacobs and centrotec really makes the drill shine.

I  have 2 centrotec sets, so for me its a great system.
