Festool Training Las Vegas - Still Active?

Hi,
My wife and I have had the good fortune to have taken several classes from Steve at the Las Vegas training facility.  I haven’t seen anything offered in a while.  Are classes still being offered?
We learned a ton from Steve and would love to sign up for future classes.

They moved offices and the last I heard when I stopped by there a few months ago, they were running dealer training and had a class going on, Jessica from Anderson Plywood was there.

If you want to take some classes check out Greg Paolinis classes they are very good. Im taking one next month and I live in So Cal. they are worth paying for the flight out there.

Just checked. Greg has more classes coming up.

Wish I lived closer, Id like to take them to.

Well maybe later on in the year if LV doesn't have them.

For the moment the Las Vegas training center is being used mostly to train Festool employees and dealers. As [member=10147]jobsworth[/member] pointed out, the best option for classes is with Greg Paolini in Asheville, NC. His classes are posted at festooltraining.com.

Gregs classes are the bomb.

He is very detailed in his instruction and because he uses festools in his business (cabinet shop) he has real world experience with the tools.

He helped me with my technique useing the Kapex and TS 55 on the MFT. I have both tools and found that his advice helps me make more accurate cuts.
He has a good eye and helped me with my technique. Something so basic, id never thought of it. Maybe I just got into a habit which needed to be corrected. Whatever he pointed it out and I took his advice.

plus you can take a walk into his cabinet shop and see his employees use the festools building cabinets and you are free to ax them questions as well.When I first read about that, I didnt think it that big a deal. Until I got there and actually took a walk out there during a class break.
Then I understood how cool it was.

So there I was in the cabinet making class, using the CMS to make rails and stiles. I remember some folks said they didnt like the CMS for whatever reason and I walk into the sop and there was a guy with a stack I mean huge stack of rails and stiles being made with one of the CMSs he has in his shop. In observing his technique I picked up a few things. (I could of stopped him and talked to him but i really didnt want to disturb his work he was on a roll way into the zen of routing )

Anyway

Pretty nice and knowlegdable group of guys he has working for him.

Guess you can tell Im a fan [big grin].

So much so Im flying from SoCal to Asheville to take his course archtechual door class next month.
