Ok, I know Festool UK get a slamming on this forum on a fairly regular basis and on this side of the pond we wish Shane and the Festool USA ethos of "quality of service" was present.
However I am going to give credit where it is due and say thank you to Festool UK. ;D ;D
During a project my Domino DF500 stopped working and on examination I found one of the brass pins on the plug it had snapped off in the power lead connector!
So a phone call to TTS on Monday at 0830, a quick emailed "repair form", and the Domino was collected by courier at 2pm that afternoon.
Thursday morning at 10.00 it returned fixed with a new power cord and I am a happy owner.
The Domino was purchased 2 years 9 months ago, so within warranty and no cost to me at all, repair or shipping.
And people say "why do you pay the high prices of Festool equipment"
Here endeth the lesson!!
