Hey guys, I registered a new tool on the Festool USA website today, I think, and the site was significantly different.  There was not an available option to view my account to check remainder of warranty on previously registered tools and to reassure that my tool registration was successful.  I have read through this particular forum about the change in website format, but I was only wondering if there will be an option in the future that will allow us to view registered tools and remaining warranty?

Yes, later this summer we will launch a My Festool section of the website that will allow you to view your registered tools. In the meantime, I've found your old registrations and will email you a spreadsheet with them shortly.
 
Ive noticed this same thing! Used to be able to see my registered tools, where did that go and Why?

The website got updated with a new, feature-incomplete, version.
Some local sites (like the german one) simply left the old MyFestool interface in place, no idea why that wasn't also done for the USA one.
 
I also noticed that when registering more than one tool you can't select different vendors. If you want to register a tool bought from ToolNut and another from Woodcraft or Beaver Tools or whoever you would have to complete each registration, then go back to the beginning and start all over.

Unfortunately, I got word this week that the new My Festool section has been pushed back a few months.

If you need a list of your tool registrations (either from the old website or the new one), shoot me a message, and we'll get you taken care of.
 
I noticed the OF 1400 wasn't listed on the website anymore.  Is this intentional or part of the site upgrade?
 
when the my festool part goes back up on the site, will our old data be there or do we have to re-insert our tools ?  I have acquired a few more tools since that went down :) and I really don't want to have to find old receipts, etc. and re-enter all the data.

It had been there, but it disappeared a few weeks ago. IT is looking into it. It hasn't been discontinued or anything.

I don't have a definite answer on that yet. I just followed up w/ IT, and I'll let you know when I do.

Yes, old tool registrations will be imported to the new My Festool.
 
I just purchased a DF700 and when trying to register it the saved link no longer worked and I am unable to locate the page to log into my account (i found the page to register a new tool) . Does anyone have the link so i can check on my previously registered tools?  [crying]

The login feature will return to the website in the next few months. In the meantime,8 can email you a spreadsheet with your old registrations. Please send me a message worth email address that the tools would have been registered under.

Is Festool aware of the email notice that goes out to a customer after initiating an online repair service request? Below is from the Notes section of the resulting email. The "...log into your account..." text is a hyperlink to a 404 Error on the website. And as far as me being notified when my tool is received I have heard nothing from Festool. The only connection I have to my tool delivery is the UPS tracking number and UPS indicating that the tool was delivered. So it looks like I'll have to (bother) Festool with a phone call to inquire on my tool repair status.
