Hi all,
I have question regarding the use of any festool vac to suck up water.
I stupidly left a window open in my car and since it was parked outside overnight the rain came and totally soaked the front drivers seat and dash etc. Duh!
Do I simply take out the filter from under the top and remove the dust bag and use the vac as normal? or is there something else that I need to do?

It will work. Festool does have a foam filter, in a pinch you should be okay without it.

Thanks Tom
It worked quite well really, I was amazed at how much water filled up the plastic base of the vac. Crikey [blink]. I'm running a small dehumidifier to help as well now. I'll leave it in the car overnight, will eliminate any musty odours too.
Nice to get that added value from the vac.
cheers
