Hi,  could you please help me with the following:

I have been happily using the Bluetooth vaccum remote control button ( CT- F I/M Set 202097) attached to the standard 27 / 32mm hose.
I have a larger 36 mm Festool hose ( from one of these RS D 36-Plus cleaning sets in a systainer 5) and want to use it for my Cleantec vacuum,
but I realise that the 36 mm  hose is too large for the Bluetooth button "armband".
I could not find any adapter on Festool site nor any information on the internet.

Would you know a solution?

The remote should have come with two straps, one for the 27mm hose and one for the 36mm hose.

If you don’t have the original strap, maybe you can try using a rubber band instead? Or just buy a second remote for your 36mm hose.

The only solution I could think of is to connect the large 36 mm hose to the vacuum, and then the 27 mm hose to the 36 mm hose.
How ever this seems to defeat the advantage of using a larger 36 mm hose with its better airflow because the 27 mm hose acts as a bottleneck limiting the air flow...

Thank you very much,
I must have forgotten about this.
I should then have kept the other strap somewhere, I will search thoroughly for it. It is a small item you don't use as long as you don't change the hose's diameter, it is easy to forget about it... My bad...

you can find on EKAT if you want to order the spare part.

I'm waiting for mine to break and come up with my own strap since this one is annoying to move around between hoses
I'm considering some sort of magnet and a strap combo

Pos Part No. Description Installed quantity Delivery quantity Price each Excl VAT Price incl VAT Currency
1 204538 belt 1 1 5,50 € 6,55 € EUR
2 204537 belt 1 1 5,90 € 7,02 € EUR

I dropped my 36mm strap in the tub on top of the dust extractor. Otherwise I would never find it once I want to use my 36mm hose. But on the other hand, knowing myself, I would probably just buy a second remote for it.

If you don't find the strap for the 36mm hose, send me a private message with your mailing information.  I will never use the 36mm strap that came with my BT module and am happy to give it to you.

Others have used a variation on rubber bands, hair ties, and/or paracord to make an easily removable and adjustable band for the remote, sometimes even mounting in on their wrist like a watch.
