I find baseball caps very hot and uncomfortable and I know more people than I appreciate the comfort of a visor cap while showing off our favorite brand [big grin]

As one who had a stage 2b Melanoma removed from my left thigh, and two associated lymphatic glands removed from my groin, can I respectfully suggest that you wear more than a visor when working outside in the sun.

Whilst Australia has more melanoma per head than the US, a google search will soon tell you that rates are still high in the US.
So as we say in Australia - "slip, slop, slap" or slip on a hat, slop some sun cream and slap it on.

Good advice. I never was a sun person, but the first time I truly realized that I was bald was when I got a sunburn on the top of my head. That HURT! But, the pain wasn't the worst part of the ordeal.

After the pain, came the flaking. Looked like I had a terminal case of dandruff - which is pretty hard to do when you don't have much hair.

They are listed on the Germany sites and with dealers. I plan to buy one while in Germany. I get back there next week and will add it to my other purchases that aren't available in the US.

Btw I wear a Tilley hat out in the sun; ball caps /visors do not offer enough shade for sun protection
