Hello!
Today I disassembled this sander to clean it.
At the time of disassembly, I wasn't paying attention and didn't see where the two components in the pictures are from.
I assembled it without them, but the sander no longer works. Please help me fix it!

Are the loose bits part of the switch assembly?

Wondering if it's this part (#27) from the ekat: "Festool 10016727 Buffer"?

Looks to be part of the switch assembly from the diagram if it is the same part.

Yes, sir!
That's how it is!
What about the smaller one?

P.S. I think I found the place of that small piece. But the sander keeps refusing to start, why?

After many presses of the button it started and stopped, after many more presses of the button it started again. What could be the cause?

If it's part of the switch mechanism, maybe you need to either pull forward or detent the switch button when fitting the parts? Maybe the mechanism has been put back in the wrong sequence and is locking the switch from engaging?

Do the parts appear to have full movement when re-assembled, or does it jam or clunk indicating it's not fitted right?

Maybe part 11 fits or compliments part 27 somehow.

Cool diagram thanks

Now everything is set exactly as before.
Now I discovered this topic(https://www.festoolownersgroup.com/festool-tool-problems/stalling-intermittent-problem-on-ets-ec-sanders/), and this sander had these problems. Do you think that after the cleaning there is a possibility that this problem has worsened?

I can't see that it has worsened unless some part hasn't been put back exactly the same. Have you tried dropping the speed to see if it behaves differently?

I also don't understand why it doesn't work anymore. It's not the first time I disassemble a device like this. I have nothing to put back in place, because I just took the case aside and blew it with the compressor. I did not remove plugs or disassemble anything else.
