Okay, I took the plunge after talking to Woodwerks.
My primary concern with this table top was with the added thickness, and how this would affect getting a clamps into the field holes. I called Woodwerks this morning and they explained that the underside of the mdf was counter sunk on the bottom side with a larger diameter hole to allow clamp usage. And the gentleman I talked to physically verified that a clamp would work while I talked to him on the phone.
With the potentials of the table, and taking the price into consideration, and no shipping cost, well, it was a no brainer.
It is unfortunate that the router is limited to only certain sizes, but Woodwerks is also looking for feedback. So let them know.
I'll try to put together a review when I get it. Probably next week.
Now I just need another MFT table.
