Hi guys and girls I've recently ordered the LR32 system and the sys-az and the lr32 55" rail from FFX and I'm experiencing bad service and delivery, has anybody else had this problem or is it just me. PLEASE HELP

Hi Steven. Welcome.

I've never had anything but fabulous service from FFX, and I know many others that rate them highly too. Can you be a little more specific about the issue you have had with delivery and the bad service you received?

Not specific to FFX, but I'd say almost all of my delivery issues end up being the responsibility of the courier rather than being a problem with the company sending the items, so perhaps that's part of the problem too.

If you feel comfortable providing some more detail, we might be able to point you in the right direction.

In my experience it is usually just the delay associated with them having to get things from Germany.  That is, you order something and then hear nothing for a week or so and then get an e-mail notifying regarding delivery.

I did get a phone call once I believe, the other times I have used them just silence followed by normal delivery as above.  Once FFX have stock, delivery is quick and things are well packed.

I did have a really bad delay with an FFX order once but it turned out it was 90% DPDs fault.

I ordered the last DF500 that FFX had in stock which DPD managed to loose but took a couple of days to admit they had lost it. FFX ordered me a new one from the Fatherland which would take a few days. That one was then shipped to me and again DPD managed to delay it due to apparently being overwhelmed following a UK black Friday.... then there was some further delay as both ordered we accidentally cancelled and after a few days FFX had both Domino machines with them. After another couple of days i finally got delivery (they shipped it Saturday before 12 free of charge) and sadly the plastic insert was broken into about 10 bits!! Luckily the tool was ok and they sent me a new insert a couple of weeks later!!

plus side was the also did me the 1.5Mah CXS full set for £50 as a sorry for everything gesture so all's well that ends well.

FFX had a notice on their homepage a few days ago warning that delivery might not be so quick at the moment as they have just moved warehouses. I checked today and it is not there anymore.

I've never had a problem with them. If you use Twitter they're quite active on there so a message on there might help you.

I used to use them extensively, but on my two last orders they twice listed items as in stock and available for next day delivery, but it turned out they didn't have stock and had to order them in, resulting in me taking time off to receive the orders and them not turning up.

I used to use them because they were regularly the cheapest place, but £10-20 off a £400 tool isn't worth risking it not turning up when they say it will, so I've reverted to buying locally and most of the time if I speak nicely the local places will match any cheaper price or throw in some consumables, etc to sweeten the deal.

Always had good service from FFX so far.
The only problem was that a while ago they weren't so good at giving out proper invoices which makes it a bit awkward to get my tax back when I put my books in.

Seems more recently they have upped their game on that issue but I'll be keeping an eye on it and if they don't provide paper invoices (or at the very least downloadable ones but they are a faff to print out, blah blah blah) I'll just stop using them.

Though Ive never used FFX, Ive had pretty good luck with all the on line dealers who've i dealt with.

No complaints here
