I'm getting ready to redo some shop storage, and possibly also some filing cabinets in my office, and I wanted to get some tips on the appropriate hardware for filing cabinet drawers.

I see that that Lee Valley sells a double-tiered slide for filing cabinets.  Anyone used this hardware, or have recommendations for other good quality slides for this application?

Hi Ed,
I built a four drawer file cabinet about 25 years ago. The slides I used were very similar looking to the LV slides. I think mine may have been Accurides, but I honestly don't remember. Sorry. But they've held up well. For the shop (and the new kitchen) I've been using the K&V 8450FM slides and I'm quite fond of them.
