I'm working on a job where the trim has a finish coat of Advance applied prior to install. I'm looking for advice on a filler to use on the nail holes that can be Sandestin flush and not flash with just one final coat of Advance applied.

Try Drydex. Over fill, sand smooth. Takes longer to dry than they claim.

I’ve had good results filling nail holes with Timbermate and top coating with Advance. Of all the filler I’ve tried with Advance it seems to flash the least and it doesn’t shrink.

Unfortunately, I don’t know if there is a filler that won’t flash a little if you only apply one coat of paint.
