I think i went a little overboard at the tool store the other day . I went there to buy the T-15 and ended up getting the
ts 55, mtf table,ct 33 and the ro 150 . Then a week later i got the 108" rail and the Of 1400 . I think i'm done buying tools for the rest of the year  [jawdrop]

Wow!  You are cooking with gas.  It took me two or three years to accumulate that many Festools, but looking back, I wish I had done it the way you did!

Lots of great tips on those tools here.  Look especially at the threads on mft jigs, those aluminum extrusions are just crying to be jigged!

Also, find the supplemental manuals by Jerry Work and Rick Christopherson - they are a wealth of info and ideas!

Welcome to the forum and the slippery slope!!

Welcome to the forum. [welcome] You are off to a good start but I'm sure you'll be buying more. That's just how it seems to work out.

[welcome] to the Forum.  We are here whenever you have questions or you want to post projects, tips, and experiences.

Which one are you going to use first?

nice spree you went on, i had one of those about 2 months ago when i went in to buy some stabila levels and walked out with a kapex, 2 crown stops, the 80t blade, tradesman cleaning kit for my ct22, 5 boxes of sanding paper for my rotex and the ehl65 planer which i might say is an incredible tool.
look into the tradesman cleaning kit on your next visit, the upgraded hose in there is antistatic and the extra width is great for heavy dust extraction and shop/jobsite cleanup. Enjoy your goodies

I did a lot of reading up on festool line of products and then i thought  i might as well invest in some quality made tools, dust collection is what sold me , the t-15 just replaced my 10yr old 18v milwaukee  it was a well made drill
when i bought th of 1400 i was really at the store to buy the 1010 to use to rout dados for case work but my helpful sales man swayed me to buy the 1400 in lieu of festool coming out with a portable router table

so far i have used all of my new tools except for the ro 150 but that will be soon enough , they are all very nice to use [big grin]

when you get a chance to use your rotex don't get discouraged the first couple times you run it as some people on the FOG have including my self, when i first started using it i would notice that the rotex was so powerful it would escape my hands and catch corners of door frames and any sharp edges and take off, only after a little assurance from the foggers that a break in time is recommended and you have to get used to balancing the tool's weight properly so that the pad has full contact with workpiece. but hey you might be a natural,  unfortunately i was not and wanted to throw it out the window the first few times it escaped my hand, since the purchase of my rotex i have not picked up another sander.

did you get the new one with the multi jetstream pad?
