Finest project on FOG? My best work so far.

Do I take it from this that you still have milk men on that side of the pond?  If so, that could answer many questions that I have had.   [eek]

Daisy was not included in the questions.

Got Milk?

Congrats,  They grow up fast.  I have a 4 year old and a 4 month old, both share the same birthday.

i'm a bit late getting in on this project.  the congrats are dittoed from here.  now she is two, she is even more fun, i am sure and you are likey getting more sleep.

When our daughter was born nearly 46 years ago, she was born the day AFTER my mother's birthday.  My mother was always quite expressive when excitement was due.  she really went overboard  [thumbs up] when i called her about her new grand-daughter.  I am surprised she did not blow out the phone lines.  About a year and a half later, i had occasion to call her early in the morning t let her know she had a new grand-son.  I told her that since my wife & I do not like to show partialities, the grandson was born the day AFTER his other grand-mother's birthday. ::)  Oh, there was excitement, but somehow the exclamatory part was somewhat dampened.

As time went on, all remained quite happy.

Rick,

Please pass on a  [birthday song] to Daisy for all of us here on the FOG!

Hmmm....  Only one year left on the warranty! [big grin]

Terrible Two's!  Yikes, glad my 7-year old is through that period.  No, wait.... he's worse now! [eek]

Working on duplicating the construction project??

Cheers,

Frank

Congrats, Daddy! Having a little girl is a great joy and I'm sure you will have a special bond and a VERY special place in her heart.

But, as mentioned above, the consumables costs - well, if you thought Festool was expensive...

Hey Mac,
Tell Daisy Happy Birthday from all on the FOG.
I recall a pic from two years ago of Daisy with her big sister.
Big sister must be in school now.
Have you had any followup projects to tell us about?
Have you put Daisy to work yet?

Tinker

Hi everyone, thanks for the good wishes!  [smile]

Yeah, they grow up fast, huh! I've had ANOTHER one since, can you believe. That puts the current count at about four, last time I checked  [wink].

Hi Mac, long time.  Family all doing well ?  Good to see you back here  [thumbs up]

Hi Mac

Wow, Congrats on the growing family!  Mrs. Zed and I would have loved to have more than two, but we weren't brave enough!

Are you still teaching English?

Hello my friend, yeah, I've not been on much for a while. Trying to spend a bit more time making sawdust again though so here I am. I need to spend a few quid on some new tools...anything beautiful to recommend?  [smile]

Cheers,
Rick

Haha, Mrs Zed sounds like a wise woman! I think the growing family will stop growing now though, four seems like a good solid number  [blink].  Yep, still teaching English...good memory! You'd have thought four kids of my own would be more than enough, huh..?! Must be a glutton for punishment.  How've you been? Well, I hope.

Cheers,
Rick

Oh, i try not to look at the new Festools.  Tax man & me are too friendly this last while  [sad]  He seems to think i should be giving him all my money & i diss agree.  Only ever going to be one winner though !
Rob, not too late yet  ;)

Congratulations Rick - I hope all goes well for the family.

I am now hoping Paul Marcel will produce one of his brilliant comedy videos (I remember how well he used that CT during his beer drinking session) to demonstrate his diaper deputy !

Go on Paul, I dare you and I am sure that others will root for this as well.

Haha, yeah, you don't want to go upsetting the tax man.  I've been eying up on of the big Kreg router tables actually. Look pretty nice. Thoughts?

Wow.. what a trip :)  I read this post for the first time without looking at the date, I figured you just had the baby now.... then I flip to page two and she is celebrating her 2nd birthday, just a few posts later and she is 5!!  Even more crazy, 2 more children have appeared  out of thin air!!! Haha.
All kidding aside, congratulations on your entire family!!

Haha, I know, time passes scarily quickly while you're looking the other way. About the only thing I've learnt from all of this is enjoy every day with them while you can. Thanks though, dude!
