I'd want T loc, better yet I'd prefer to just order custom colored systainers and parts here in the US and make my own like our friends in the EU have done.

100% agree with Paul.    I would be more than happy to buy the red t-loc first aid systainers if you come up with one however please also make all different color systainers, latches and handles available in the US

Scottish Neil: you might be better off with the white cross on red; the organisation the Red Cross hold the rights to the image of the red cross  on a white background (in the UK at least) and are not shy of enforcing its removal when not authorised.

Amazing! I think I'll put a big red cross on my white front door - what a pathetic money grubbing bunch of small minded ... arggghhh  [mad]

Really, the Red Cross can enforce that?? I'm a rebel so when the red vinyl arrives I won't be able to contain myself ;)

Festool Fishy - I've not forgot about you, I'll call you over the weekend, been really busy!

I  always wondered why so places i worked had a green version of the red cross symbol on the first aid kits.

Think we'll have to call it the "First Aid Protest Systainer" !

I would also be interested in a red and white t-loc sans cross. I have a hilti hammer drill that would love to be in a systainer.

Yup, What Paul G said! Get those multi-color systainers over here along with Festool Mini and Midi. In the mean time count me in for a Red on White or White on Red. Whatever works [cool]

Is that something available here in the US from Festool? If so I certainly missed it on their website.

Here you go - 5 in stock:   http://www.cpofestool.com/festool-m0119-osha-approved-first-aid-systainer/fesnm0119,default,pd.html  (i'm not affiliated with that site, just had it in my bookmarks and searched for it there).

Aaaaaand two days later, zero in stock.  I bet they're wondering why they had a run on these all the sudden  :)

Beaver seems to be allowing orders though no way to tell if they're actually in stock or how many are left:   http://beavertools.com/m0119-festool-first-aid-systainer.html

My local Woodcraft store had one a few weeks ago when I was in there.

Highland has a few left.

Actually the white cross on red background is protected by the Geneva convention and may only be used by the red cross or by the army, it's got nothing to do really with patents or trademarks. In times of war, putting a red cross on an ammo transport would be a war crime and have disastrous effects on real red cross transports, that's why it needs to be protected by international conventions.
Using it on a first aid kit is breaking the Geneva convention, as an individual i would not worry but as an organization i wouldn't attempt to.
The internationally recognized symbol for first aid kits is a white cross on a green background.
That first aid systainer (issued by Festool?) with red latches with white cross on it technically breaks the Geneva convention  [eek] !
