Hi All,

I am new to this site, and Festool.

I did a project for my daughters school, building an Ark for the schools Torah scrolls.  To build the bottom cabinet, which you really can't see, I used dowels and biscuits.  For the top, I borrowed a domino cutter.  The top went together quicker & better than the bottom.  This was also the first time I built something this large.  It came out OK.

As a result of this project, I won't be buying a domino cutter, but I have ordered a RO-125 sander and dust collector.  Now I just have to wait for it.

Hi GP,

I don't plan on doing anything else that size.  I do plan on doing a lot of dovetail and box cut type stuff, though.  So I got a sander.  If I do need a domino, I can rent one for the hour or so per year that I need it.

Take care,

edg

My YouTube channel. :  builtinsbykreg

Over 223,000 views of people watching me use ans learn about festools very enjoyable videos and not boring like some of the ones you see if I might say so myself and hundreds others!!

I found Paul Marcel's video efforts extremely informative, but each one seemed to lead to an inevitable end ... another Festool purchase.

View at own risk ...

Peter Parfitt is very structured in his review and information delivery

Safer viewing ...

... can't watch videos with too much fluff and nonsense in them, those you'll find a lot of !
