Flexzilla air hose

Cheers Garry sounds ok. Think I will order one I could get the US quick couplers too as they look just like the ones we get here but with npt thread so will fit the hose

DONE: £17.46 Inc delivery from the US :)

I have 2 50's and 1 25'. I use them everyday and had no problems that I haven't had with others. Burned a hole in one with it against a heater without noticing tell it started hissing. They really are great no issues unrolling when cold like -32 cold.

Bostitch hose turned up safely today all the way from the good old US of A.

Looks very flexible compared to my pvc ones. I tried screwing on one of my Euro quick release fittings and as it expected it doesn't fit. It does seem to fit and winds on quite a few turns before it stops. I will probably just go to my local hose dealer and get him to crimp 2 new BSP ends on for me.

How are you getting on with the bostitch hose and you happy with it or do you wish you got the flexzilla  going to look into this again

It's great but to be honest I've not used it out on site yet. From using it in the workshop though I can see it's gonna be great. I think it only cost me £4 to have two 1/4" bsp ends fitted so all in all a right bargain. I imagine this hose is just as good as the flexzilla one.

Cheers for the update do you think I would get screwed for dutys if bought the compressor aswell its only $100  [big grin]

I just picked up a 100'er with 4 spare ends and made it into 2 25s and a 50. I think i saved $33 plus it gives you the benefit of being able to do any 3 lengths say 15' 35' 50'

I also grabbed a couple packs of their red connecters They seem to be of ok quality they are aluminum so they are very light.

Yeah that is the problem. When I bought the hose it was under the limit I then thought I'd add a couple of fittings. It went over and said I would get charged so I just ordered the hose.

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread.

To satisfy my OCD, does anyone know how similar is “Zilla Green” to the standard Festool Green?

I am thinking about building a pressure washer / air hose station with Flexzilla hoses and some Systainers, and don’t really want a garish clash between greens!

The Flexzilla has a pretty sizable dose of yellow in it. I would call Flexzilla  yellow / green and, though Festool is a very intense color, it is still solidly within the straight green family. Color match wise the two are noticeably different. I'd pick something else, probably black hose.

I use a short Flexzilla as a hose whip on my HVLP, much more handy than standard OEM hose
