I have the D handle Trion jigsaw,I love the tool but not being able to see while cutting can be a problem at times. The indicator in front is spot on,and I use that when making straight cuts.I thought it would be nice if they made a different dust cover that goes around the blade area that could be easily flipped out of the way while using the saw so that when you get to point where you have to stop the cut at a certain location or make a curve cut you can see what you are doing.

Max,  I had the same problem with mine, ended up selling and buying a Bosch.  Festool has solved the problem with the Carvex and is making me now wish I had one.  Not only is the dust shroud improved, it  has a very slick strobe light that increases with blade speed and makes the blade look as if it's not even running.

Jim,
I did not know they fixed the issue with the Carvex.I bought the trion because I didn't need all the features that come with the Carvex,I really don't use it that much in the shop.just for odds and ends.I still wish they would come up with a way to solve the problem on the trion,I like having the option of buying the less expensive model without all the other features, and being able to see what your cutting.

Yea, I'll second that the visibility of the Carvex is great. Hard to imagine the Trion having much of a future in the product line

I know cut with the trion upside down. You can see your  it easier and can't cut into the table by accident
