Gene, Nicely executed. I can see the influence with the leg shape and edge treatment. I started woodworking 35 years ago and some of the first books I purchased were by James Krenov like "The Fine Art of Cabinetmaking" and all of the other books he published. They made for a great introduction into woodworking as both art and function.
Very nice. That cherry sure is gorgeous. I also like the curvature of the back legs on the chairs in the background. Unusual, and quite pleasing to the eye.
beautifully done curves, thanks for posting. very thoughtful of you to plan ahead and build it in time for her anniversary--i don't think many people do that.
Minwax Antique Oil Finish, which is brush on, wipe off. I thought it might be better than what I had been using on some earlier projects, which were done with General Finishes Arm-R-Seal.
