Foam Insert for Shaper Origin tools/parts

Most of mine are recognizable as far as brand/style/etc, so I can find the packaging.
A lot of them come from Amazon too, so I could find them in my history if I really wanted exactly the same thing. The green makes Lee Valley really easy too.
The 8mm Bosch are still in the original case, but I doubt that I could ever replace them individually?
I'm all over the place  [blink]

Crazyraceguy can I ask where you purchased the foam for your systainers like in the very first pic? I just made the huge jump and purchased the Shaper and all the accessories  [eek] My bank account is crying!!

[member=74041]rocky100370[/member] Sure, they came from the Systainer Store. I don't know if they still have them though?
AFAIK, they had limited stock. This has been unavailable separately, until that point. You could only get it with the Systainer itself. I don't know if this a something new and they are going to remain available like this, or if it was a special thing? I have said it all along, that they were missing out by not selling the foam separately.
I was about to try something else, when I got turned onto these.
I had always been worried about screwing it up or changing my mind and not being able to replace it.
I like the Systainer 1, but I sure wish that Shaper would make a bigger one that matches.
New tape rolls don't fit exactly comfortably and that's not necessarily the biggest thing you would want to store in there anyway.

You got everything at once? Workstation, Plate, Studio?
Yeah, that's a bit spendy. I got my Origin and Workstation together too, but Plate didn't exist yet.
Are you aware of Trace? There's a Kickstarter campaign going for it right now

Better pics of the workstation and the bracket, plus the deeper pocket on one section.

[member=58857]Crazyraceguy[/member] yes I bought everything in one shot. I hope I can figure this out as designing on my Mac is not my strong point. The Shaper looks intimidating to me. Anxious for it to arrive and try it out. My first project will be making the EVA foam cutouts.

[member=74041]rocky100370[/member] The design aspect was the initial limitation for me. I did the first few things with the on-board tools. Then I started working with Ink Scape, watching some Youtube tutorials. It did work, but my time was limited, so I didn't advance too quickly.
Then when Studio was introduced, it really opened things up for me. It afforded me the opportunity to mess with the design while I was at home, with my laptop. It's very intuitive.
