I really do appreciate the support guys  [big grin] but I tend to tread to the cautious side.  I decided for neatness of the forum to just post here.

Below you will see the digital image sent to me and then what I honestly feel is a better alternative.  In discussions with the company, straight stitches in combination with small curves or italics don't make the stitching software happy.  I guess that a carpenter wrote the software  [scared].

Anyway, the only difference is that I am proposing is to reduce the number of green "holes" in the "O" to reduce the clutter.  I would suggest getting rid of all of the holes except for the center hole but after playing with it I found it to lost the "pop" and it became boring to me.  The actual dimensions of the large portion of the image is approximately 3.5 inches wide by 1 3/8 inches tall.  The smaller holes are approximately somewhere around 1/8 inch in diameter.  These images will also give an indication of the overall quality of the work.  I anticipate that the final product will be slightly better than these images.

Feel free to post your thoughts.

I'm fine with the new proposed look. Too many pieces of dust makes it look like a failed pattern is being attempted.

Peter, I like the look of the logo with fewer holes, but I do worry about the reduced dust collection. [tongue]

I've got no stake in this because I'm not ordering any caps, but being used to the FOG logo as it is, the picture with fewer holes doesn't seem genuine to me.

Peter,

I agree the second option looks less cluttered.  Even though it is not the actual loge I'd still put it on my head!

I think the revised one looks great, just as long as Festool doesn't change the paper  [wink]

I like the 2nd proposed image, but I'd like the 'O' to be in Velcro so I can attach whatever RO 90 sandpaper suits me while working.  Being able to just peel off new pieces from my hat would be very handy and also help promote Festool sandpaper as opposed to that "knock off" stuff being discussed.

Thanks Peter!

Thanks Peter!

There is always next year Ken when the super secret battery powered RO45 and RO32 come out.

The revised picture looks just fine -- nobody (with a life  [wink]) will count the holes.

Yep second image with less holes. Much cleaner looking and who the heck is going to know the difference but us Festool geeks. :)
