FOG-exclusive meet-up at Festool Connect 2017

We'll be announcing more details about Festool Connect very soon, but Festool is planning to host a special event for FOG members on the Friday evening (Sept 15) before Connect. It will be a pretty casual opportunity for online friends to connect in person. Food, beverages, hanging out, etc. The location and details will depend a bit on how many people plan to attend.

You may have noticed that there's no mention of recon tools. There will be a recon component, but the details are being worked out now.

I just posted this another thread but thought it would be relevant here as well:

I just what to give a heads up.  There is an Indianapolis Colts game on the Sunday after the event so with all the pre-game hoopla there might be shortages of rooms.  Last year there were events the weekend of the event but do not wait to the last moment to book rooms wherever.

It's looking like 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. However, we'll be renting out part of a local bar, so if people want to come early or stay late if they want. I'll be emailing more details to everyone who has registered next week.

Thanks to everyone who has registered for the FOG event at Festool Connect! We'll email more details to everyone who has registered within the next week. We're trying to keep the details offline so that we don't have too many non-FOG crashers.

The FOG event will take place at a bar in Lebanon from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Because it's a bar, you can come early or stay late, but Festool will be picking up the tab for FOG folks during those two hours. There's no set agenda. Just meeting in person, hanging out, and talking shop. There will also be a special Festool draft on tap! (It will also be available on Saturday at the main Festool Connect event.)

It isn't too late to register. To help with our planning, please register by this Thursday (Aug. 31).

Question: I don't drink but 3 Floyds is between my house and Lebanon. Should I, would it be appropriate / inappropriate to pick up a case or two for guys to enjoy during the FOG event?
