I notice two things in that photo.
- there seem to be a lot of white spots on the Sys, packing remnants or the finish wearing off from Peter stroking it so much?
- More importantly it appears that Peter is a food snob, notice the bon appetit magazine  [big grin]

Actually the white spots are just reflections off the factory finish.  It is hard to notice with the Festool systainers, but there is gloss when new.  I only had the Fogtainer in my possession about an hour before I took that photo yesterday.  I didn't have time to stroke or drool.

The placement on the stack of magazines on the kitchen island was intentional so that viewers wouldn't think that Wayne had done another one of his fabulous renderings.

Yes I am trying to keep enthusiasm up because it has been a while.  I hope to have something very special planned for the grand announcement and unveiling.

Hang in there!

P.S.  I do like to cook - remember the threads about what do Foggers like to eat?  or about a FogFest?  Hmmm.  What is going thru his mind?

Peter

So I downloaded the picture thinking maybe it was cropped in Photoshop so I could see the rest, but, alas, it wasn't (or, the forum software re-renders it for display).  There was a famous incident of that with Cat Schwartz of Tech-TV posting a picture of her eyes  [eek] but it was cropped from a topless shot  [tongue]

Since the start of this thread, I did a lot of rearranging in the shop and now actually want double what I put down.  I'm curious if others have changed quantities since the original vote.  (also curious how many googled the Cat story before getting to this paragraph  [cool])

Sure am glad the top one is a mistake. That is one ugly color. Wouldn't want to show up on a manly jobsite with that thing. [eek]
add some red and it could be makita

Sorry,

I have been away from the FOG for the last few days.  I have had a good reason.  I hope to have a significant announcement by the end of the week if I get the last few tiny pieces of the puzzle nailed down.

Oh no!  I'm going out town next week!!!!!!!!  Go figure  [crying]

Jon

Don't worry.  You will have time!

To those who think that I am a tease - I am just trying to keep up interest in the last few days before starting to accept orders.  I wanted to make the announcement while I was at Festool USA's headquarters taking classes, but something came up that nobody could control - hence the delay of a few more days.

Those who spent time with me after class hours this last week have heard many of the details and have called me crazy!  I will say that the FOG has many friends who have gone out of their way to open doors and provide tremendous amounts of assistance to make this happen!
