let me know when and where to send cash.......i think that is the festool theme song [big grin]

I've lost track... will there be Mini Systainers as well?  I need a couple and want to know if I should just order them or wait for these...

Peter,

Are there going to be any sortainers available?  Thinking of buying one for my drill bits and such, but want to wait for the FOG version.

Also need a 4, 5 (for my FOGpressor), and a 2...  [big grin]

Jon

Jon,

Sorry not any sortainers either.

Just sys 1,2,3,4.

I don't think that either the sortainers or the minis are available here in the dark blue color.

Peter

Foggers,

I have to admit that I oopsed.

I previously ordered the systainer from mysystainer.com after all the arrrangements made by Franck at Tanos.  It arrived.  Due to my poor fingers it was the wrong color.

Jack Shallow was great in expediting the correct color to me.  I took the naked systainter 1 and put festool latches on it.  I can tell you - it is so FESTOOL!

Somehow next week I am going to get the prototype box to the vendor to experiment on the logo so that I can abuse his work before going forward.

I really appreciate your patience.  I would rather have you hate me than provide a product to you that would not hold up under normal conditions.

For the interested parties, here is a photo...  the bottom systainer is the prototype waiting to be printed...  The top one is my oops.

Wayne and Jonathan were spot on!

Thanks Jack Shallow for helping me out!

Peter

I am so bad.

I forgot to mention that I had today conversations about a possible special treat / bonus for Fogtianer buyers.

This will be cool..... I can not tell yet..

There better be a damn festool polo inside them.

My god that top one is hideous!!  [dead horse]

Sure am glad the top one is a mistake. That is one ugly color. Wouldn't want to show up on a manly jobsite with that thing. [eek]

Darcy,

If you expecting a special edition sysatiner at a cost that will be close to or less than retail, and then want a Polo incxnuded, I sorry, but that is not om the agenda

Well you know what they say wish in one hand, crap in the other and see which fills up first.

Peter,

That looks great! The bottom one, obviously...

Can we have another pic of it, but without the truly hideous light-blue one on top?

Hi Peter

Like everyone says that light blue really is ugly as heck, i wonder if anyone would actually want to buy them. But the one with the green latches looks pretty damn close to the renderings i reckon.
Looking forward to seeing the final prototype. Again Peter, thanks for all the hard work and effort you put in to make this happen. [thumbs up]

You'd sure know if anyone else was getting in your tools... though I doubt many manly men at a manly work site would even approach a stack of those.

That alone may be good enough reason to have them.

I know I am able to hang onto a hot pink cigarette lighter until it runs out of fuel. Any other color, not so much. [laughing]

Very close to the Makita color!

Tim,

There are two 'green' colours that Tanos manufacture & sell, neither of which is 'Festool green'. Tanos make the Festool green latches specially for Festool, and they will not sell that exact shade to anyone else. That MaxiSys is a 'special edition', again produced exclusively for Festool.

Festool has given Peter permission to purchase the Festool green latches through Tanos. These latches are a standard item for Tanos, and presumably they hold stock for Festool. In theory (if Festool gave permission) we could have handles in Festool green, however these are not a standard item & would have to be specially made. This would mean a minimum order of several thousand pieces (I can't remember the exact figure, but Peter did explore this & the quantities were unrealistic for the FOGtainers).

I hope that clears it up for everyone.
