"Foot" for lifting plywood on to MFT table?

Hi FOG,

I would like to make this foot (shown at 0:35) that Dave references in this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itg-E3QxNtU) and attach it the side of my MFT table.  I have two questions:

- What do I use to attach it to the t-slot or other slot and adhere it?
- Will the 70lbs be too much for the track and bend it?  What if I made two "feet?"

Easy to make using a T-hinge and attaching to the T-track with two toilet bolts and the piece of wood.  Put the square hinge up and use two bolts and let the T end face down and attach to the piece of wood.

The t-slot in the MFT is plenty strong enough to support this.  You could do two feet but one is probably sufficient. 

If it were me, I'd probably bend a piece of metal from a metal angle braket at the bottom to give you more width to more easily enable you to place the ply on the bottom ledge.  You could use a 4 x 4" x 3/4" metal shelf angle bracket screwed in at the bottom and leave a 2" wide 'channel hook' at the bottom.

I would do two "feet". That way you could lift one corner up on one, then the other and have a more stable pivot to get it on the table top. I used to have a snowboard lift that worked on my Sprinter in a similar fashion.

Thanks Neil.  I'm not sure if I'm clear on how the toilet bolts would go into the T-track.  I'm very new to woodworking and Festool so if you could explain a bit more that'd be great.  Thank you!
