I used to post links to interesting things I came across that I thought might interest others.  I haven't done that in a while.

For those who can get access to the History channel, there is a mini-series going on called the Cars that made America.  It is airing this week and it might be possible to jump in and see previous episodes.

Interesting enough for even my wife to enjoy.

Just a thought in case woodworking is clouding your vision or mind for a period of time.

Sweet, thanks for the heads up buddy. Me likey cars.  [big grin]

Happened to see a Lambo an hour ago which is pretty amazing in my little town.

One of my favorite things was visiting the Mercedes and Porsche museums in Stuttgart when I went to Germany. I could have spent days in both of them.

Shane

Edit: DVR set for new episodes plus about 5 old episodes that air this week.  [wink]

Thanks [member=1674]Peter Halle[/member] I'll see if I can hunt it down.

On topic, today I was visiting a marine upholstery place to get a few bits to change the canopy setup on the boat and what did I find in his workshop?? 67 Mustang and a Shelby Cobra, both having their interiors done ... we talked for ages!

[member=48572]Shane Holland[/member] Yeah, there is a Dr. and another business man in my fairly small town (little over 100,000) that have had some pretty amazing cars.  The Dr. has had lots of Ferraris, even an F40.  The business man has had Ferraris and a Ford GT 40.  Neat to see these.

It's a great series,  I haven't watched  the third night but have it recorded.  It's pretty cool how the auto industry has impacted wars, economy and history!

I love cars.  I spent a day last month in the Ferrari museums in Modena and Maranello.

If you are really up for it, one company will take you on tours of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and Ducati...ON THE SAME DAY!

My next door neighbor has a Lambo, McLaren and 911 Turbo that he never drives.  Sometimes I'll come home and there are 4 or 5 Lambos sitting on my street.

Me, I drive a Buick  [mad]
