Forstner drill shank diameter

I would like to use the Festool 35 mm forstner drill for my kreg hinge jig as the Kreg drill wont cut clean holes anymore. Will the Festool drill fit the jig? The Kreg drill has a 12 mm shaft diameter.

I can confirm that the "old" Zobo/ swiss made Forstner 35mm bit ( 496476 ) has a shank diameter of 12mm.

Keep in mind that Kreg bit has ground and polished shank designed to spin in the guide bushing. The shank on Festool Zobo bit is rough (either powder coated or treated somehow).
