Fractional calculator for Android

Buildcalc is a duplicate of the Construction Master calculator, with fractional capabilities as well as metric conversions.  It is available for Android and iThingies.

I am adopting plans with mortise and tenon joinery to Dominos. Plus, no thanks to Festool,  I have entered the schizophrenic world of Imperial /Metric. I installed a Droid based application (Carpenter’s Calc- $4.00 ). This lets me do the arithmetic of odd fractions from drawings and when I need it, I can convert an inch scale to metric. My Vernier does the same but the Carpenter’s Calc application helps when stacking a set of dimensions.  Once loaded, the application can be installed on the Droid Phone or on a tablet at no additional cost. I have it on both. The tablet is easier to see when working on plan conversion.

On the subject of Droid applications, oddly, there is no Droid Tablet version of SketchUp. (at least that I can locate)

Look at it this way, if the Dutch want to take over the US, they've got a very steep learning curve ahead of them...  [poke]
