I'm doing a job for someone involving building up some bespoke cabinetry from sheets of 18mm mdf. I have aprox 100 pieces to cut from aprox 11 panels and am trying to find some free software to calculate how to cut each board in the most efficient way. Does anyone know of any free software that would do this? I've searched around, but so far no joy, only demo versions which won't give me the info I need, or very expensive software I just can't justify for what is a bit of an abnormal job for me. Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks all for the help. Think I've got it sorted, and for free! Cheers! All I have to do now is get cutting, shame I don't have a TS 55 to do it all with!

I gotta say that the MaxCut is very cool for a free programme. I'm not being biased because it's one of my countryman. It does what you need it to do and no more. Perfect. I can really recommend it. The only downside is that it has no database of standard board sizes, so you do need to know what size sheets your supplier is selling.
Thanks robjnc for posting this request.

With the money you saved on the program I am sure you can justify the TS55 now.
