I purchased this saw new and the manufacture date is 09/08. The saw has seen light use over the years in a hobby woodworking shop. I upgraded the vac connection to the port that stays put when rotated and I overlaid the metric scale with an Imperial scale. The blade on it is in good condition. It was resharpened several years ago at the shop in Dallas that does Festool sharpening (got the shop location from Festool USA website). I bought the new TS 55 that uses the new thin blade to replace this saw. The Sys 3 compatible systainer and the new power cord from my new saw are included with this TS 55 EQ.
