I have been trying to PM a member; however, his inbox is full.  Their e-mail address is also hidden.

How would I go about contacting them?

Thanks

I have the same problem. Is it possible to send automated notification?

Thank you

On a related note - where do I find how full my inbox is? I've never deleted any PMs, they're all still there. I've just looked in all my profile and message settings, but can't see any info about how full my mailbox is (until this thread, it never even occurred to me that it might have a limit...).

Do you only find out it's full when you hit the limit?

"Older version" had that information, I don't see it now anymore. I'm trying to contact person, and getting error that "Their mailbox is full"

I don't see where that information is available.  The reason for not having unlimited PM storage is storage room.  At this point only moderators and administrators have unlimited PM storage.

Maybe Shane can look into notifications or "alarms."  Otherwise deletion go old stuff might be in order.

Members with no posts have a max of 10 PMs in their inbox.
Members with one or more post have a max of 500 PMs.
Members with more than 100 posts have an unlimited number of PMs.

The forum should let the member know if their inbox is full.

If you need, send me the member's name that you're having contacting and I'll reach out to them for you to let them know their PM box is full.

During the first run of First Aid Systainers I ran into the 'full inbox' issue a couple of times with FOGGER's I was trying to contact. Peter Halle was immensely helpful to me in reaching out to them.

Of course, I was unaware of the account limits that are now explained one post up from this one.
