Hey all...questions for some of the euro hinge experts out there.
I have a GRASS hinge jig where the boring distance is 4mm with a 35mm bore.
I am going to get some GRASS TIOMOS hinges and I'm using 18mm doors. I plan on having a full overlay. ie an 18mm overlay. None of my cabinets hit walls hence I want the full overlay.
There are obviously various heights for the MOUNTING PLATE which would dictate the overlay size, the hinge I'm looking at has the table below. for example.

Now the Q I have is this....given the bore distance, cup distance in this table, of 4 there are no direct options to get to the 18mm overlay.
Is it possible here to say select a 2mm MOUNTING PLACE to get a 17mm overlay and then just adjust the hinge slightly once attached to get the movement over the extra 1mm. Since I am ripping the doors to my own custom size presumably this would work?
Alternatively I could get a 0m MOUNTING plate and a 3mm cup distance would get me the 18mm overlay....since I have a 4mm cup distance I would just need to move the other way by 1mm here to get the desired 18mm overlay. Obviously I would need to move all hinges on each door to keep straight.
Are my assumptions here right? Sorry this is my first time installing the cabinet doors and it's just for my own house.
