FYI Tanos T-loc Sys 3 $34.81 on amazon

Me too.
My only issue is thought I ordered 4, and didn't pay attention to the notification email and I only ordered 1 [sad].
Still worth the wait. If any of ya want to make a lil bit and can sell a few let me know. [big grin]

That delivery date (early May) isn't coincidence - it matches perfectly with our delivery of the MedTainer boxes. I'll bet they are on the same container ship, if not in the same container!

Yep I received the message as well. I confirmed to keep the order. I didn't need them right away. But a wait this long should be worth a free sys1 or something...lol!

Same here, I don't mind waiting being that it was such a good deal.....as long as they fulfill the order.

As someone who didn't see this thread in time it burns every time it comes to the top.  Well... here I am bumping it back up!

At that price I think I would have ordered 3 and can only think of use for 1.  Wouldn't mind waiting at all.

Oh well.

Ordered 10 and updated so I get them. I am used to waiting for my Festool stuff, or stuff that goes with Festool stuff. [big grin]

Also still waiting.

I did however notice that Amazon had one Domino Systainer available for $76.50 (regularly $85) so I grabbed that this morning.

Just to add a bit ........................ Festool Systainers are made by Tanos. Same umbrella company. With the exception of specific tool inserts and the stiffening piece across the inside back edge , they are the same and integrate in the same ways.

Mix 'n' match. So have at it  [smile]

Seth

I've found that a length of cylindrical steel bar or a hardwood dowel substitutes well of the stiffening piece. There's always some junk lying around here for stuff like that.  [laughing]

ordered Feb. 23  guessing that everyone that ordered should be getting at the same time.

Mine was ordered March 1 and still says:

"DELIVERY ESTIMATE We need a little more time to provide you with a good estimate. We'll notify you via e-mail as soon as we have an estimated delivery date."

As a former IT guy, I could never afford patience. The mean time between a server going down and me getting a frantic phone call was measured in SECONDS, not even minutes. Fortunately I used to thrive on adrenaline and stress, or I would have been a wreck.

An old boss once said of me about stress,  "He's a carrier. He doesn't GET it, he GIVES it."

:-) See, this is why I don't do production support. I write the software, then throw it over the fence..... It's also why I write a bazillion unit tests for my code (Java, JUnit). At least I can sleep at night knowing I've tested the hell out of it.

But a former manager of mine (probably my favorite ever) who was an Aussie gave me a mantra I will always use: "Failure to plan on your part does not constitute a crisis for ME". It's helped me a lot in the software biz...
