Three of the tables were started about 28 months ago. We moved and I lost interest in woodworking for quite a while.

Inspired by the G&A aurora end tables. Modifications were made to incorporate some cloud lift elements and given an Asian spin with flared legs. Aurora tables have a square top but we didn’t have enough room in our living area for such big tables. Decided to make them rectangular.

I woke up in the middle of the night with the curved drawer handle concept. The middle three fingers fit nicely on the inside of the handle and the two outer fingers fit on the outside of the handle.

Tables are made of cherry and wenge with a splash of ebony plugs. Constructed with mortise and loose tenons.

Where did you get such beautiful, gummy, cherry?
By far my favorite
Wonderful piece of work.

I don't recall where I got the cherry.  Sorry.
