Generic pad protectors for mesh abrasives?

I've upgraded most of my abrasives of 3M's new Cubitron Xtract II mesh abrasives. I've got their 5" and 6" discs, and just got a few rolls to fit my RS2e. Knowing that all of these mesh abrasives require interface or protection pads, but it looks like Festool doesn't sell interface pads for this sander. I was wondering if there's a generic supplier of protection pads in larger sizes to fit something like the RS2e, or something that could be cut down to size?

I remember trying to find an interface pad for the RS2 and not having any luck.

I'm not familiar with this RS2. Can someone clue me in?

It was Festool's half sheet sander (as in NAINA anymore). See this old thread:

I think it was equivalent to the RS 200 or RS 300 in Europe, but there may have been some differences.
