Is it possible to get final plywood cuts with a TS75?

Is it possible if I change the blade to a fine tooth blade?

I’m on the fence about adding a 55

Definitely. It’s just a bigger 55. A well supported workpiece on foam and use of the saw mounted *splinterguard* will deliver cuts on par with the 55

Do note that the splinter guard, unless they have changed the design is absolutely worthless under a certain depth. I think around 1 1/4". The blade has to be set low enough to actually get behind it. Whereas on the 55 I am pretty sure it is always there.

Same problem exists on the TS 55, but as the blade has a smaller diameter the minimum depth (for the blade front to reach the splinter guard) is a bit less than on the TS 75.

The TS75 will deliver decent cuts with the stock 36T blade and even better cuts with the 52T plywood blade.
If you want just one saw to do it all the 75 is a good choice.
However, I just added a cordless 55 because I couldn't pass up the recon deal.  It's nice to have a separate saw for cutting sheet goods.  Especially with the bag.

That said, I had great results from the 75 cutting plywood.  And the splinter guard mod can help keep the offcut side chip free.
