Getting out of the hospital...

Well, by unpopular request I've been held over for another day.

:(

But they promised me I could go home tomorrow morning. We'll see.....

BOOOO!!  It's for observation, take care and try to rest....there's never any actual sleeping in a hospital  [mad]

Run for it, man!!!  No more lime jello and wallpaper paste-tasting oatmeal!!!

[big grin]

You are soooooo wrong...

It's orange jello! [wink]

And I'm eating some right now.

Get well, and go home as soon as they let you. Change your Avatar to a pic of that Orange Jello when you bust out of there finally.

Man, you're staying at the wrong resort. I was at Park Nicollet Methodist and they had a 3 or 4 page menu with full room service. The food was better than at home.

The food here is actually quite good - and I like jello.

As for why I'm here:

Abbott Northwestern/Minneapolis Heart Hospital (here) is ranked #22 nationwide for cardiolgy.

If I wanted to pick another place, Mayo Clinic (90 minutes away from me) is ranked #2 nationwide for cardiolgy.

Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital is unranked for cardiolgy.

As a Nationally Registered Paramedic, I definitely vote for the MAYO Clinic, but if it's terribly serious, they could fly you there from abotts
Best Wishes!

But did they have orange jello?

    I am FREE!!!

Got home this evening. I will need a couple of recuperation days, then I begin cardiac rehab next week.

Thanks for all the well wishes, and for putting up with me sticking my nose in just about every post. It was the easiest way for me to keep my sanity...

...from slipping any further.

[wink]

Glad to hear it.  Hope you continue to feel better and get your strength back.  I hear it takes time, so I wish you patience as well.
