Nice little surprise this morning walking in to pick up lumber at my local dealer. I walked in and the Owner says, "how would you like to go to Festool training?" Since I have done all their Festool Demos for the last year, and we are planning this years demos, (as well as trying to talk them into a festool testing center)  He thought it may benefit me and them to have me do the official training session.  I so have been wanting to get up there for one of their courses, and this one would be fun to experience. Hope to pick up some new information and get to use some of the tools I haven't. Anyone know how long the training days are? May try to say an extra day to hit Vegas.

Awesome, have fun! I have taken several end user classes with Steve Bace in Henderson, he is a great guy and a good teacher.

You'll have a great time and learn a lot. Steve starts the classes with his "average person only uses their tools to 50% of their potential." Then goes on to put you in info overload.

You meet some good people from the FOG there to.

Except for this Jeff guy........ gotta watch him...

Geeze Ron, I only met you once!  Then, you skipped town and moved to the UK. Hmmmmmm  ???

I was down there last July for the 4 day cabinet-doors & drawers class. Fun time as always!!

Very much looking forward to it. Look forward to learning anything I may not know about the tools I have and learn more about the tools I would still like to invest in. Would be great to run into some more fellow FOG members.

The days run from 8 AM to about 4:30 PM. Lunch and a couple of breaks.

Thanks Tom!

Stay at the Sunset Station, it is a nice place. Steve will pick you up in the morning and get you back in the evening.

You have to go to the Heart Attack Grill and let me know how it is. This will only work if you stay an extra day and over to Fremont Street (another interesting place) All I've managed is looking in the door (weird story).

thanks Tom, I will be staying at the Sunset Station, Already reserved an extra day booked, since I am driving in and want some time before heading back to Phoenix. We have a Heart Attack Grill in Phoenix, but I haven't been. I like Fremont Street, and may hit that one of the days there. Last time I was to Vegas was about 6 years ago. I don't really gamble, I like sure bets like spending my money on Festool. :)

From what I understand it used to be in Phoenix.

Thats when I found out about the place ,  I went there thought it was great.

then the owner closed it and moved it to LV.

Steve likes to take ya out to dinner the first night ask him if he'll take ya to hooters. He  won't but he loves ya asking.

Don't ask me how I know that
