I can't imagine playing this many courses but the customer wanted something that would accommodate 250+ golf balls.  I don't usually go for painted and stained look but this is going in a home office with furniture that has the same finish features.  The other cabinets I've done usually project out more but the customer didn't want it sticking out from the wall more than 7" (including crown) so that limited what I could do with cabinet depth.  It is getting shipped off to VA tomorrow morning in time for Christmas.

Great project and I love the thin profile, very nice work.  When I play golf a lot of the balls stay out there on the course ;-)

Yeah , it's strange what people will pay top dollar for ,  Golf balls ? Display Used Golf Balls ?

anything that puts money in the bank account I guess  [big grin]

The case is killer.
It does occur to me...what prevents the balls from falling off?
What if Oprah visits?
A dollop of silicone?
Just asking. The George Costanza in me is worried.

They stay put.  I guess if someone bumped into the case it would jostle them off but once this is screwed to the wall they won't go anywhere.  I suppose I could market these under Vandelay Industries.

another dopey thought, is there such a thing as a "collectors tee".
you know, it has a slightly larger seat thingy?
.
