I found a CT22, ETS150, 6" sandpaper systainer full of sandpaper for $600.00.  Do you think this is a good deal?

A new ETS is $300, so assuming you are getting the ETS for 75% which is $225 and the systainer is probably worth $50, do you consider $325 fair value for a used CT22?

If they are in excellent condition, it's an ok deal, if not, it's good for the seller!

The full 150mm systainer of sandpaper retailed for about $225, IIRC.
ETS value around $225 (per previous reply)

So the CT22 is valued for approximately $150 in this deal.

I agree it's a good deal.  Not fantastic.  But it depends on your valuation of the sandpaper and also the age/condition of the CT.  Any vac accessories included?
I'd offer $525 and get talked up a bit if the CT is not too old.

I ended up getting 4 boxes Vlies also, that was a surprise.  Plus there was more than the systainer of sandpaper.  Then I picked up (2) 50", (2) 40"  jet Parallel clamps, and (2) 40" Bessey Revos and some accessories for another $100.  Everything was in like new shape.  I felt like I got a pretty good deal.

Deal? I'd have been looking in my rear vision mirror for the Police! ... that was a steal.

Let me tell you, I did not waste any time getting ahold of this gentleman and ensured him I would be there right after work with cash in hand.  Then when I saw the clamps and asked what he wanted he said make me an offer so I did and he excepted.  My wife was with me and she could not believe the deal I just got so she ran up to the bank to get the extra money. Score he changed his mind.

FYI on the CT22 power outlet - I think they had a bad batch in there somewhere - contacts get loose, poor design...

If you notice any looseness of the plug, or erratic function of the plugged-in tool, call Festool - they're pretty good about sending out replacement outlet assemblies and they're quite easy to install.

Thanks for the heads up Julian.  I will be giving it a good test today while I trim out my bedroom, bathroom, and closet.
