Good experience with the service dept in Indiana yesterday. Something was keeping the sliding table on my CMS-VL proud of the router table surface. It was throwing my jack miters off just a bit, but enough to drive me nuts. I tried everything but ultimately gave up and contacted Festool. There was no way I could describe the issue over the phone so I just shot a video and sent it over.

Long and short of it is that it’s a tiny little BS part and they sent it right out at no cost. (If you really want to know what it was I’ll bore you with a PM).

Just nice to be able to get someone on the line with a pulse instead of having to talk to a computer...or “Bob” from Manila.

Hey!...no using Bob's name in vain!  He lives in NJ and if you have a problem he will talk to you direct on his cell!!

Same experience here. I had a problem with my ETS EC 150 sander and sent it in.

Got a call from Brad, the repair department manager, who made things right. Very happy with the service!

I've received assistance from That service department several times over the years to my ultimate satisfaction.  Those folks are great!

I love that Festool's service reacts so fast and is so helpful.  I've used them in the past and have had the same great experience.

I hate that I've had to use them, while not having to use the service for Dewalt, Makita, Bosch, Milwaukee, etc.

I'm interested in what little BS part caused this, could you please enlighten me (and preferably anyone coming thereafter, by posting it here so the search function can find it)?

Thank you so much for sharing! Our customer service team works hard and always do their best to keep folks happy. I'll make sure that the right folks see this!
