Threads like this one are a waste of band width.
If people don't want to post here any more just don't. Issuing a final farewell message is nothing more than a juvenile attempt at garnering applause, or in cases like this trying to get others to follow. If a memer decides to leave, and if people want to find him they will, especially in this case where the OP has said he's not closing his membership which leaves his contact info intact.
The administrator constantly answering to these types of threads only serves to give them validity. Involving himself in a back and forth he said/she said war does nothing to further the goals of the forum, but instead calls into question his maturity also.
I'm new here, but not to internet forums. Threads like this should be deleted at once since they serve no purpose but to cause strife in the membership, and in the current situation seem to be used as an advertisement for another forum.
The unfortunate thing that comes of a forums membership splitting is a loss of knowledge for all members..... on both forums.

I'm the kind that believes that if something is not 100% perfect it's on a one way path to total destruction. I do think that Eiji has had better days than this and wish him well. We have a wonderful forum here and despite of some of the recent breakups we will continue to thrive.

No more discussion of TF is necessary. If people want to join that forum, it's their choice, and joining that forum will have no impact on their membership here. But please do so privately. However, the FOG cannot be used to promote that forum.
TF management has crossed the line of decency recently, both with their spamming of the FOG memberlist, and now with their outright promotion of their protest forum in the FOG, as well as their personal attacks on the administration of this forum.
Further use of the FOG to promote TF will result in immediate banning, without notice.
