I'm loving (relatively) it thus far, much better privacy (so far).  Even if that fails somehow it makes it so much easier to share with who you want to.  FB should have done this years ago when people were asking for it.

A chief problem with that article is he fails to distinguish privacy into different areas, instead treating it as all the same.  Google may scan my message via a computer and serve me a message based on that, but that is not the same "lack of privacy" that facebooks affords when my wall posts are shared with all people "friended". 

Bottom line with any of these services is you should not assume any real privacy, but in the case of G+ you can at least control who see's what.

Loving G+, Facebook without the Farmville crap! The circles are impoertant, create circles as you go, think of them as lists. You can create a Festool circle, and in one click, connect with the Festool group without bothering the Friends or Family groups. This will be a huge help when you start doing group chats or hangouts!
