Got mine - CentroTec set 2011

I received my set just before the weekend.  I'm glad I ordered it -- before it came I wasn't sure it would be useful but I thought I would get it & forget about it until the new Festool sets were sold out then post it on e-bay & make a little $$.  Well, now that I have it I'll be using it often for sure.  It's a great set with very few items I won't have purpose for.  I am a little surprised (those Germans!) that it doesn't have ANY T-10 Torx bits included so I ordered some good Apex ones to add to the set.

There were also 3 or 4 "green o-rings" missing -- I have no clue what brand those bits are???  [unsure]  I'll have Shane send me some so I'll know they are Festools.

So Ron, you decided to keep the set but make a few bucks back by selling hot o-rings on E-bay, clever....... [tongue]

When it was pointed out that my set was also missing a few green o-rings, Shane offered to replace them.  I asked if the o-rings served any practical purpose.

The O-rings main purpose in life is BRANDING. Which is cool but?

Finally got mine yesterday after the "train derailment" delay.

Now...

HOW DO I GET THAT FARGIN' DRILL BIT CASE OPEN?

THe slider stops at a little nib and it won't let the top open.....

Fritter, simply break the nib off.  Needle nose plier....

Ah... I was trying to mount the Festool rail on it and plunge the TS55 into it.... [tongue]

(Seriously, never seen that before and it didn't look like something meant to be torn off).

LOL...I actually pushed and managed to open the lid with it still in tact and then I read Shane's post about the little tab...pretty funny, actually...Festool Humor...

Yes, it is pretty humorous that some many people have been outwitted by a tiny piece of plastic. [tongue] [big grin] [big grin]

I'm late to the party here, but I received my set yesterday from "Uncle" Bob. I really like it!
Like others have said, it's nice to have everything  in one spot for installs, from drill bits to driver bits. Thank you Shane, and Festool.
