Grizzly Closeout on Festool Products

My credit card is begging mercy!

But at least I have some more sandpaper and other accessories that I had been looking at but reticent to pull the trigger on.

Ouch!  The Festool bug bit me again!    [eek] [scared]

Thanks a lot, [member=66813]rmhinden[/member]  [big grin]

For someone looking to get a complete kit of dominoes/cutters, or looking to get into the Connector system, the prices are agonizingly good.

can someone clarify, is this a sale, or is grizzly getting out of the festool game?  Since if it was a sale, wouldn't everyone in the US have this?

Yeah, I bought the DF500 connector kit a few weeks ago, and it stings a little to see it marked down so much.

I'm not entirely sure how Grizzly can do this sale - I thought Festool was pretty insistent upon dealers not marking things down without approval.  I notice they don't even have the newest stuff - maybe Grizzly is quitting Festool.

Edit to add: [member=68063]DeformedTree[/member] Great minds...I guess your great mind is a little faster.

According to the post I read, they are dropping Festool.

BTW, I ordered a T18+TID18 set a few weeks ago arriving later this week, so I also feel the pain too :-(

Why are the prices marked down? Are they going out of business? Or are they going to stop carrying festool products?

I was all happy about getting some Granat, but the sales tax for CA and shipping mostly killed the deal.

I'm guessing it's a flat shipping fee?  I must have spent enough that the shipping didn't eat into my discount very much.  The Kapex UG Stand was cheaper than I could even get it used on FB Marketplace or eBay, even with the $15 "oversize" handling fee.  I held off on the wings because they didn't have them included as a complete set and the separate item prices plus discount equaled the set price at full retail.

Thanks Bob! Too bad I got the FSK 420 Saturday. But it was good to have today. Not a lot I need in this Grizzly batch. Maybe I've reached a saturation point with Festool. Nevertheless, I scooped-up that silly radio. So grateful they're out of routers!

Wish I hadn't seen this yesterday. Filled my cart to $1,000 then whittled down to $479. So I "saved $521!!

I think I halved my original cart as well, although I wasn't quite as frugal as you.  I'm set on sandpaper for quite a while, though! (unless I actually start woodworking for a living)

darn it... another hit to the credit card!

I just bought some Powertec clamps yesterday, then the Festools were such a good price I bought them too. Then some addons for the OF Routers...

Thank you

Congrats to whoever pulled the trigger faster than me.  I was looking at the LR32 drilling jig, (still a lot of $$ at 20% off) was going to grab a 1400 guide stop and some jigsaw blades, and by the time I was done deciding on sandpaper, all of those items were gone. My credit card thanks you.

Anything for a fellow FOGger! ;)

I had a lot of analysis paralysis yesterday myself.  Looking at what's "missing" today, I can only imagine how loaded up the site was just a few days ago...

That'd be me... [big grin]

I saw it in the morning, went outside and sanded all day and then about 3:30 decided to pull the pin for some kitchen cabinets I'll be making. Actually, I was surprised it was still available that late in the day, although they may have had multiples in several locations.

Well now this is interesting, with squall_line's purchase, there were multiples. [smile]
