Given the favorable comments about Tenyru blades, when I was talking with Sean at SystainerWorld ordering carts, I asked if Sean would consider a group purchase of Tenyru for FOG members.  He said he would.  I would like to try the Tenyru on my SawStop as well as the Kapex and TS's.

Anyone interested in participating?

I'd like to try that very thin kerf Tenryu that Dan Clark pointed out.

I would like to try that ultra thin kerf one also.  I'm thinking that would require marking/using separate guide rails for the different width kerfs?

Maybe. It depends on how far the sides of the teeth extend beyond the plane of the blade disk.
If that relationship is the same as on the Festool blades then the splinter guard side of the kerf
will be in the same place.

I have the Forrest blade made for the Festool 55 saws and although the Forrest teeth are wider than teeth on the Festool blades the kerf doesn't even tough the splinter guard because the blade disk is very thick and the sides of the teeth don't overhang much.

Sorry guys, but I happen to really like my local Tenryu dealer, so unless this group buy gets them at an incredible price, I'll stick with the local guys.
